Statement of Faith
The Bible.
1. I believe that God has spoken through his prophets, whose inspired message, is contained in the original texts of the 66 books of the Bible. And I believe that all good translations, of the texts that are now available, are the Word of God.
1Peter 1v21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
1Timothy 3v16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2. I believe that the Word of God will stand forever and that not one word will be lost.
Isaiah 40v8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Mat 5v18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The Godhead
3. I believe that there is one God revealed in the persons of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28v19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
4. I believe that God is revealed in the Word of God to be holy, transcendent, righteous and gracious.
Exodus 15v11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Creation
5. I believe that God created angels and that a number of angels disobeyed God and fell in sin and that they are led by Satan.
Nehemiah 9v6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
Colossians 1v16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
2Peter 2v4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
6. I believe that God created the world, all its creatures and adornment, all the universe and Adam & Eve in six days.
Genesis 2v2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Man
7. I believe that God created Adam innocent but that in an act of wilful disobedience and outright rebellion Adam sinned against God.
Genesis 2v16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3v6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
8. I believe that all men are by nature are sinners and unable to please God.
And I believe that no natural gifts, attainments or rituals may make a man acceptable to God.
Romans 3v10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3v23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 8v8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
The Mosaic Law
9. I believe that God gave the Mosaic Law to the people of
Exodus 20v1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the
10. I believe that the Mosaic Law showed men to be sinners and pointed to the need for blood sacrifice.
Romans 7v7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
11. I believe that Christ fulfilled the law and yet he became the object of the curse of God by being crucified.
Colossians 2v14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Christ, His Person and Work.
12. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that is, that he is God manifest in flesh.
John 1v14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1v32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
13. I believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
Luke 1v27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
Luke 1v35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
14. I believe that Jesus Christ grew up and lived a life, which was well pleasing to God in every aspect, and that he lived a sinless life.
Luke 3v22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
Acts 4v27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of
Revelation 3v7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
15. I believe that Jesus Christ was faithful in his mission declaring, ‘Repent for the
Mark 1v15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the
16. I believe that Jesus Christ was betrayed, tried, condemned and crucified under Pontius Pilate.
Mark 15v15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
17. I believe that Jesus Christ died and was buried and that on the third day God raised him from the dead.
Acts 10v39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in
18. I believe that Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and that he now sits at the Fathers right hand.
Matthew 22:v4 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Romans 8v34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
19. I believe that Jesus Christ baptised the whole church into the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
John 1v33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2v3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
1Corinthians 12v13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Salvation
20. I believe that men on hearing the Gospel may freely believe and receive Christ as Saviour.
Romans 10v13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
21. I believe that on believing the Gospel God the Holy Spirit brings new life in regeneration.
John 3v3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
John 3v5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
22. I believe that the sinner is declared to be not guilty before God and is adopted into the family of God.
Acts 13v39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Romans 3v28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
23. I believe that the believer is dead, buried and risen in Christ. He is dead to the old life and to the Law of God and is alive in a new relationship to Christ.
Romans 6v4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
24. I believe that the believer by faith is made holy by the ministry of the Holy Spirit in sanctification.
2Thessalonians 2v13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
1Peter 1v2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
25. I believe that the believer is eternally secure in Christ, and that it is possible to know one has eternal life.
John 10v28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
1John 5v13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
The Christian
26. I believe that the believer should seek to walk with the Lord in his private life and that he should also attend those meetings for believers that are provided for benefit of all.
Colossians 2v6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Colossians 1v10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Hebrews 10v25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
27. I believe that it is the duty and privilege to do good toward all men and to be a witness for Christ by both word and deed. The visitation of the sick and lonely should be his great joy.
Galatians 6v10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
James 1v27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 4v17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
28. I believe that the suffering, which the believer may be called upon to endure, is not worthy to be compared to the glory, which will later be revealed.
Romans 8v18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
2Timothy 3v12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
29. I believe that the believer is required to live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and by doing so will be found to be obeying the Law of God in its demands and spirit.
Romans 8v1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
30. I believe that obeying civil government is a Christian duty unless they command obedience, which conflicts with the will of God, and that believers should offer prayers for kings and those in authority.
Hebrews 13v17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Titus 3v1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Acts 5v29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
31. I believe that the believer should love his wife, care for his children, provide for their needs by honest daily work.
Ephesians 5v25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
1Timothy 5v8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
32. I believe that the believer should give to the work of God and that the money should be used for the glory of God.
1Corinithians 16v2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
The Church
33. I believe that the Lord Jesus is calling a people to his name who meet in church fellowship, whether Jews or Gentiles.
Acts 15v14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
Acts 2v42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
34. I believe that the local church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and that it is our duty to maintain the unity of the Spirit.
1Corinthians 6v11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
35. I believe that the local church should appoint deacons administer practical responsibilities.
Acts 6v1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. 3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of
Acts 15v22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to
36. I believe that churches should cooperate in mission and humanitarian relief
Acts 15v4 And when they were come to
37. I believe that believers should seek to express solidarity to all brothers and sisters.
Ephesians 1v15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Ephesians 6v18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Philippians 4v22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
Christian Service
38. I believe that God calls believers to service and ordination on the basis of his foreknowledge.
Ephesians 1v4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
39. I believe that it is the duty and privilege of all believers to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations.
Matthew 28v19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Act 8v4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
40. I believe that all believers should discover their unique sphere of Christian service.
2Peter 1v10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
41. I believe that God calls some believers to be evangelists, pastors and deacons and that they should be recognised by the local church for their godliness and ministry.
Ephesians 4v11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Titus 1v5 For this cause left I thee in
Ordinances
42. I believe that Baptism by total immersion, is to be administered to all those who request it making confession of faith.
Acts 2v41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
43. I believe that Lords Supper is to be observed by believers as a memorial of the Last Supper and that the bread and wine are symbols of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus.
Luke 22v19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
1Corinthians 11v23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
The Holy Spirit
44. I believe that God the Holy Spirit indwells every believer.
1Corinthians 3v16 Know ye not that ye are the
Romans 8v9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Ephesians 1v13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
45. I believe that the Apostolic sign gifts were primarily toward the unbelieving Jews during the early days of the Church age.
1Corinthians 14v21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the LORD. 22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
1Corinthians 13v8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
46. I believe that God fills his servants with the Holy Spirit in order that they might exercise their ministry.
Ephesians 5v18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Dispensations
47. I believe that God dispenses his world administration in different ways at different times. These periods of time are called dispensations and they are characterised by the revelation of God found in that time. And I believe that we are now living in The Dispensation of the Grace of God.
Colossians 1v25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Romans 5v2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Ephesians 3v1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. 8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
The blessed hope
48. I believe that Christ is coming soon to the air, to take all the church, those who have died and those who are alive home to heaven.
1Thessalonians 4v13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Corinthians 15v51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Israel and the Tribulation
49. I believe after the taking up of the church, the Lord will take up the Jews again and during terrible persecution will bring them through tribulation in order that they might see The Day of the Lord, the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 24v21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24v27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
50. I believe that when the Jews finally see the one that they pierced, they will confess their sin and welcome Jesus as their Messiah.
John 19v37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Romans 11v26 And so all
Zechariah 12:v10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The Kingdom of Heaven
51. I believe in the First Resurrection all the righteous of all ages will be raised physically from the dead in order that they might enter the
Revelation 20v6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Matthew 25v34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
52. I believe that Jesus Christ will establish the
Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Matthew 4v17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 6v10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Luke 1v32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Isaiah 2v2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isaiah 9v6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 11v9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 16v5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Jeremiah 23v5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days
Zechariah 14v9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

53. I believe that Satan will be bound for a thousand years, but that afterwards Satan be released and will again lead men to rebel against Christ and that God will send him to the
Revelation 20v7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
54. I believe that in the Second Resurrection God will raise physically from the dead all the unrighteous of all ages. And I believe that God will establish the Great White Throne judgement where all unrighteous men will give account of the deeds done in the body. And I believe that God will send those whose names are not recorded in the book of life into the eternal torment of the lake of fire.
Revelation 20v11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
